Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 4 Tbsp. melted butter or oil
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3 egg whites, beaten until stiff
Method
- Mix the dry ingredients together.
- (I use my electric mixer.) Mix the egg yolks, melted butter or oleo and milk together.
- Blend into the dry mixture.
- Do not overmix.
- Fold in most gently, the beaten egg whites.
- Cook according to manufacturer's directions. Makes 4 to 5 waffles.
