Ingredients
- 1 lb. pkg. pinto beans
- 1 ham halks
- salt
- 2 Tbsp. lard
- water
Method
- Wash beans and then put in large pot.
- Cook pinto beans and ham halks together in water.
- When half done, add lard and salt. Then cook low until done. You can use hog jowls instead of ham halks but omit the lard.
