Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburg
  • 1 (1 qt. 14 oz.) large can chicken broth or 1 qt. 14 oz. water and 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • another qt. water
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 small box frozen vegetables
  • 1 c. orzo rice
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix

Method

  • Fry hamburg and drain grease.
  • Add broth, water, Lipton soup mix and celery.
  • Boil 20 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes and vegetables. Boil 15 minutes.
  • Add rice and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Boil 10 minutes.
  • Makes quite a bit.
  • Freeze some for later.
