Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. chopped fresh cranberries
  • 1 bunch broccoli flowerets
  • 4 c. shredded red cabbage
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vinegar

Method

  • Put cranberries in a small bowl with 1/3 cup sugar.
  • Stir and set aside.
  • Mix broccoli, cabbage, walnuts, raisins, onion and bacon.
  • Add the cranberries.
  • Mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar. Spread dressing over the salad.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  • When ready to serve, mix the dressing into the salad.
