- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. flour
- 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
- nuts (if desired)
Method
- Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet and bake about 12 to 15 minutes. Take out as edges brown and tops are light brown.
- Cool slightly and remove to wire cooling rack.
