Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups cannellini beans fresh
- 2 garlic cloves
- extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 sage leaves chopped
- 1 tomato large ripe, chopped
- 2 sausages cut up into pieces
- salt and ground black pepper
Method
- Place the beans in a terracotta saucepan and add water to cover.
- Add the tomato, garlic, sage, and sausages.
- Place the saucepan on the stove and bring it rapidly to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat to a light simmer, and cook for approximately 1 hour.
- Check the beans for doneness and drain them, leaving some broth.
- Season with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Serve hot.
