Ingredients

  • 17.6 oz feta cheese
  • 3.5 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 cup milk
  • 5 tbsp melted butter or margarine
  • dillweed or mint, finely chopped
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • pepper
  • butter to grease the sheets of dough
  • 17.6 oz phyllo dough

Method

  • Mash the feta cheese with a fork. Add the mozzarella cheese, the milk,
  • butter, dillweed or mint, eggs and pepper. Butter a bakinh pan and line it
  • with half the phyllo dough, brushing each sheet with melted butter as it is
  • added. Spread the cheese mixture over this and cover with the rest of the
  • dough, buttering in the same way. Bake the cheese pie in a moderate oven
  • for about one hour.
