Ingredients
- 17.6 oz feta cheese
- 3.5 oz mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 cup milk
- 5 tbsp melted butter or margarine
- dillweed or mint, finely chopped
- 4 eggs, beaten
- pepper
- butter to grease the sheets of dough
- 17.6 oz phyllo dough
Method
- Mash the feta cheese with a fork. Add the mozzarella cheese, the milk,
- butter, dillweed or mint, eggs and pepper. Butter a bakinh pan and line it
- with half the phyllo dough, brushing each sheet with melted butter as it is
- added. Spread the cheese mixture over this and cover with the rest of the
- dough, buttering in the same way. Bake the cheese pie in a moderate oven
- for about one hour.
