Ingredients
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Method
- Mix cake mix per instructions.
- Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Meanwhile, melt caramels in evaporated milk and butter over low heat.
- After cake has baked for 15 minutes, then pour caramel mixture over top.
