Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 (7/8 ounce) packages turkey gravy mix
  • 34 cup water
  • 4 lbs turkey breast
  • 2 onions

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Peel onion and cut into quarters.
  • Shake flour in an oven bag.
  • Place in a 13x9x2 inch pan.
  • Add gravy mix and water to oven bag.
  • Squeeze oven bag to blend in flour.
  • Brush turkey with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Place in oven bag.
  • Place onions around turkey.
  • Close oven bag with nylon tie and cut six 1/2 inch slits in top.
  • Tuck ends of bag in pan.
  • Bake 1 1/4 hours to 2 hours, until meat thermometer reads 170F Let stand in oven bag 10 minutes.
