Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1 lb ground turkey (you can substitute ground chicken for the turkey if you prefer)
- 1 cup old fashioned oatmeal (you can substitute 2 slices bread, soaked in waterand pressed dry if you prefer)
Method
- Place turkey, oatmeal, carrot, and egg in a large bowl and mix thoroughly to combine.
- Place meat mixture on a foil lined baking sheet and pat into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle.
- Bake in a preheated 375F oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let rest for at least 15 minutes.
- Using a cookie cutter, (I use a bone shape) cut into biscuits until all dough has been used up.
- *If you don't have a cookie cutter, these can also just be cut into bite sized pieces.
