Ingredients
- 1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1 c. walnut pieces
Method
- Melt over hot water, milk chocolate and shortening.
- Stir until mixture is smooth.
- Pour 1/2 of mixture into 8-inch square greased foil-lined pan.
- Spread evenly.
- Refrigerate until firm (about 15 minutes).
- Return remaining mixture to low heat.
