Ingredients
- 1 quart white vinegar, 5%
- 2 quarts water
- 1 c. non-iodized salt
- 2 tbsp. dill seed
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder, optional
- 1/8 tsp. Alum
Method
- Pack pickles in jars. Add Alum, dill seed and if wanted garlic powder to each jar. Boil water, vinegar, and salt. Pour into jars over pickles. Boil lids in water and seal.
