Ingredients
- 5-6 peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
- 5 slices white bread
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place fruit in 8 x 8 baking dish.
- Cut crust from bread and cut slices into five fingers. Place bread fingers over the fruit. In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, egg, and butter.
- Pour over fruit and bread.
- Bake 35-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Serves 5-6.
