Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 tablespoons cinchona bark powder
- 2 tablespoons citric acid powder
- 1 cup chopped lemon grass stalk
Method
- add water and sugar to instant pot and stir
- zest and juice lime and add to instant pot and stir
- add cinchona and citric acid powder to instant pot and stir
- chop lemon grass, add to instant pot and stir
- set instant pot to 15 minutes on high and lock lid with slow release pressure
- start
- after instant pot cycle is done and pressure is released, strain mixture through a coffee filter
- G&T: 1 shot tonic syrup, 2 shots gin, 4-5 ice cubes, soda water to top of glass, add wedge of lime, and stir
