Ingredients
- 2 (15 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
- 14 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 pinch on baking soda
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Method
- Combine first 4 ingredients in pot.
- (I put the stewed tomatoes through a food processor first as we don't like the chunks).
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer and simmer 60 minutes.
- Add baking soda.
- Wait for fizz to go down.
- Add whipping cream.
- Wait until soup is desired temperature.
- Serve (with grilled cheese of course).
- Enjoy!
