Ingredients
- 1 peck tomatoes
- 4 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 c. canning salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 lb. onions
Method
- Chop onions and garlic and cook in salad oil.
- Put in spices, sugar, salt and sliced tomatoes.
- Simmer for 1 hour.
- Put in jar and seal up.
- Brown 1 pound hamburger and use for spaghetti sauce.
