Ingredients
- 2 cups tomatoes (ripe)
- 2 cups onions
- 12 cup vinegar
- 34 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pinch cinnamon (optional)
- 1 pinch spices (optional)
Method
- Peel and coarsely chop tomatoes.
- Slice onions.
- Bring all ingredients to a boil, then let simmer on medium to medium low heat for one hour or until reduced and thick.
- Once cool put into mason jars and store in cool place.
