Ingredients
- 2 lb. fresh mushrooms, diced
- 1 c. butter
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. Accent seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 4 c. light cream
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. chives, minced
- 4 tsp. lemon juice
- 4 sandwich loaves of white bread, trimmed
Method
- Peel mushrooms and dice.
- Saute 5 minutes in butter.
- Blend in flour, Accent and salt.
- Stir in cream and simmer until thick. Add chives and lemon juice.
- Blend well.
- Roll bread slices thin. Spread with mixture and roll up.
- Cut in half and toast on all sides about 20 minutes in 400°
- oven.
