Ingredients

  • 2 whole Prepared 9" Pie Crust Dough Rounds
  • 1 pound Ground Lamb (pork Could Be Substituted)
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1 whole Large Apple, Peeled, Cored And Sliced 1/8-1/4" Thick
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk

Method

  • Line a greased deep dish 9 pie dish with a round of pie crust dough.
  • Spread the ground lamb evenly in the pie dish.
  • Sprinkle the seasonings over the lamb.
  • Arrange the apple slices over the lamb.
  • Top with a round of pie crust dough.
  • Moisten the edges with milk and press the top and bottom together.
  • Brush remaining milk on the top of the pie.
  • Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes and then at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
