Ingredients

  • 16 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/2 c. canned salted peanuts
  • 13 oz. can chow mein noodles
  • candied cherries

Method

  • Make several days ahead in double boiler over hot, not boiling water.
  • Melt chocolate pieces.
  • Stir in peanuts and noodles until they are well coated with chocolate.
  • Drop by heaping teaspoons onto wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
  • Top each with a 1/4 candied cherry.
  • Refrigerate until served.
  • If they soften when served, refrigerate again until firm.
  • Makes about 3 dozen.
