Ingredients

  • 8 oz. lasagne noodles
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1/2 c. pimientos
  • 1/3 c. skim milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
  • 1 1/2 c. cream-style cottage cheese
  • 2 c. chopped, cooked chicken or turkey
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded American cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Cook lasagne noodles in boiling salt water according to package directions; drain well.
  • Cook onion and green pepper in butter or margarine until tender.
  • Stir in condensed soup, mushrooms, pimiento, skim milk and basil.
