Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 c. butterscotch chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Beat butter and sugars until smooth and creamy.
  • Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
  • Add flour, baking soda, butterscotch chips and oatmeal.
  • Stir well.
  • Drop tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie.
  • Makes about 5 dozen.
