Ingredients
- 6 apples, any kind, peeled and sliced
- lemon juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 stick butter
- dash of salt
Method
- After peeling and slicing apples, sprinkle with the lemon juice to keep them from browning.
- (Once sprinkled, they will keep in the refrigerator for a week.)
- In a food processor, pulse together sugar, flour, cinnamon, butter and salt.
- Spread apples in a baking dish (or individual dishes), and sprinkle topping on it.
- Bake at 350° until the apples are fragrant and easily pierced with a fork. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Yields 6 to 8 servings.
