Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. oriental chili sesame oil
  • 1 bunch scallions, hollow green tops discarded
  • 1/2 lb. snow peas
  • 1 lb. linguine
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seed

Method

  • Mix together in large serving bowl first 5 ingredients to make dressing.
  • While cooking linguine according to package directions, wash scallions and slice thinly on the diagonal. Trim and wash snow peas.
  • Drain cooked linguine, add to dressing in bowl and toss well.
  • Toss in scallions and snow peas.
  • Toast sesame seed to golden brown in heavy skillet over moderate heat, stirring often.
  • Toss into salad.
  • Serve warm or chilled.
