Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) box powdered sugar
  • 12 cup butter
  • 3 -4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 4 tablespoons milk

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a saucepan heat water and butter unil melted.
  • Add cocoa, set aside to cool.
  • Stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Pour into chocolate mixture, then add eggs and sour cream.
  • Stir thoroughly and pour into a large greased and floured cookie sheet.
  • Cook 15-20 minutes in preheated oven.
  • Mix together all frosting ingredients, and frost cake IMMEDIATELY after coming out of the oven, do NOT let cool.
