Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup each: melted butter and all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Tex Mex Cheese
  • 3 cups cooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 green or red peppers, sliced and sauteed

Method

  • WHISK butter, flour and milk in a microwaveable bowl.
  • Microwave on HIGH power for 6 minutes or until bubbling; stirring 2 or 3 times until smooth.
  • ADD cheese and stir until melted and mixture is smooth.
  • Combine mixture with macaroni.
  • Spoon into a greased baking dish.
  • Top with peppers.
  • BAKE at 350F (180C) for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
