Ingredients

  • 1 (1/2 lb.) flank steak
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 clove crushed garlic

Method

  • Trim excess fat; place steak in a shallow container.
  • Combine next 8 ingredients, stirring well; pour marinade over steak. Cover and marinate in refrigerator overnight.
  • Remove steak from marinade, reserving marinade.
  • Grill steak 5 inches from hot coals for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, basting often with marinade.
