Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar Cheddar cold pack smoky cheese food
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp. chopped onion
  • 2 tsp. chopped green pepper (optional)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped dried beef

Method

  • Mix the cream cheese, Cheddar cold pack and butter together until blended.
  • Add the chopped onion, green pepper (if desired), Worcestershire sauce and chopped dried beef.
  • Mix well; refrigerate 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Shape into one ball or two and roll in chopped pecans.
  • Wrap in Handi-Wrap, then foil.
  • Chill. May be made several days ahead of serving.
  • Good with crackers.
