Ingredients
- 3 c. unpeeled, diced apples
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
- 4 c. miniature marshmallows
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 1 c. Spanish peanuts
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 egg
Method
- In saucepan, combine sugar, vinegar, beaten egg, flour and pineapple juice.
- Cook on medium heat until thickened, approximately 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; let cool.
- Combine apples, pineapple and Cool Whip.
- Add peanuts and marshmallows.
- Stir in cooked custard mixture after it is completely cooled; mix well.
- Chill well before serving.
