Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. onion salt
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
Method
- Mix following ingredients and marinate 1 (4 to 5 pound) well trimmed brisket overnight or longer in refrigerator.
- Place in covered plastic pan and turn several times to cover both sides well with marinade.
- Bake in covered pan in 225° oven for 8 hours. Pour off liquid and cool.
- Refrigerate meat until cool, slice, then put back in pan.
- Cover with barbecue sauce.
- Serve heated.
