Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 4 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Mix following ingredients and marinate 1 (4 to 5 pound) well trimmed brisket overnight or longer in refrigerator.
  • Place in covered plastic pan and turn several times to cover both sides well with marinade.
  • Bake in covered pan in 225° oven for 8 hours. Pour off liquid and cool.
  • Refrigerate meat until cool, slice, then put back in pan.
  • Cover with barbecue sauce.
  • Serve heated.
