Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 c chopped yellow onion
- 1 package of taco seasoning
- 3 10 1/4 oz cans mexican style diced tomatoes
- 1 14 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 14 oz pinto beans
- 1 14 oz can black beans
- 2 cups water
- 1 8 oz package of frozen corn
Method
- Brown the turkey in a dutch oven with chopped onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently
- Add taco seasoning, stirring constantly
- Add cans of diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beans and water and stir well until hot.
- Stir corn into soup until it is warmed through.
- Serve soup warm with preferred toppings like tortilla chips, sour cream, cheddar cheese, avocado, salsa or hot sauce.
