Ingredients

  • 8 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 (1 1/4 ounce) packages taco seasoning
  • 4 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups sour cream

Method

  • Put chicken in the crock pot.
  • Mix soup and taco seasoning and pour over chicken.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Remove chicken and cut up into chunks.
  • Mix in sour cream and serve over rice or noodles.
  • For Once a month Cooking: Put chicken in the crock pot.
  • Mix soup and taco seasoning and pour over chicken.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Remove chicken and cut up into chunks.
  • Let cool, then package into a large zip-bag or food saver bag and freeze.
  • Defrost and thaw the day before serving.
  • On serving day, empty thawed ingredients back into the crock pot, OR warm on the stove top in a large pot.
  • Add sour cream and serve over rice or noodles.
