Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- 2 jars Ragu sauce
- 1 lb. lasagna noodles
- chopped onions
- mushrooms (canned or fresh)
- seasonings to taste
- 24 oz. cottage cheese, drained, or Ricotta cheese
Method
- Brown ground beef and drain off all fat.
- In large saucepot, mix Ragu, ground beef, onions, mushrooms and seasonings.
- Bring to boil and let simmer for 45 minutes to an hour.
- Cook noodles to desired doneness.
- In a glass oblong casserole dish, layer ingredients in the following order:
- noodles, sauce, Parmesan cheese, Ricotta and Mozzarella.
- Finish with a layer of noodles topped with sauce.
- Bake in a 375° oven for 1 hour.
- Top with Mozzarella cheese.
- Serve with salad and bread.
