- 2 lb. round steak
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 c. oil or bacon drippings
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
- 2 c. warm water
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Pound flour, salt and pepper into steak.
- Brown steak in oil on both sides; bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Makes 4 servings.
