Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw pumpkin seeds(soaked,rinced,dried)
  • 6 tbsp white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

  • preheat oven to 250
  • spread seeds in a single layer on baking sheet.
  • toast 45 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • in a large bowl stir together 2tbs sugar, salt and pumpkin pie spice.
  • set aside.
  • heat oil in frying pan over medium/high heat.
  • add cooked seeds and remaining sugar to pan.
  • stir until covered and melted.
  • pour coated seeds into bowl of sugar and spices.
  • toss seeds to coat.
