Ingredients

  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. flour

Method

  • Scald milk.
  • Place margarine and sugar in large bowl.
  • Stir in milk, stirring to melt margarine.
  • Add eggs, yeast and salt. Mix well.
  • Add 2 cups flour, beating very well.
  • Add rest of flour. Knead well.
  • Let rise in warm place.
  • Punch down.
  • Make into rolls, cinnamon rolls or tea ring.
  • Let rise again until double. Bake at 350° until golden brown and done (30 to 40 minutes).
