Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 c. drained crushed pineapple
- 1 (23 oz.) can sweet potatoes
Method
- Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan.
- Add water and boil for 10 minutes.
- Stir frequently.
- Add butter and pineapple to syrup mixture.
- Pour over sweet potatoes in shallow casserole dish.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
