Ingredients
- 1 qt. dill pickles (either plain or kosher), cut lengthwise
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. pickling spice
Method
- Drain and rinse dill pickles.
- In pan, mix sugar, cider vinegar, water and pickling spice.
- Simmer until clear.
- Pour over pickles, repacked in jar, while hot.
- Let stand 2 days in refrigerator.
