Ingredients
- 3 oz julienne ginger
- 2 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 cup hoisin
- 2 tbsp sambal oelek
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
Method
- Heat oil in wok or sauce pan.
- Saute ginger until lightly golden brown.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
- Puree with immersion blender or allow to cool and puree in blender.
- Strain if desired.
