- 2 cups Martha White self rising white cornmeal
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
Method
- -Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- -Crisco the bottom and sides of an iron skillet.
- -Whisk all ingredients together.
- -Pour in skillet.
- -Bake at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
