- 1 can cut green beans
- 1 can cut yellow beans (optional)
- 1 can dark red kidney beans
- 1 small green pepper
- 1 small onion
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. salad oil
- 2/3 c. vinegar
Method
- Drain liquid from the 3 cans of beans and put beans in a large bowl.
- Chop pepper and onion fine.
- Mix chopped vegetables with beans.
- In a separate bowl, mix all remaining ingredients.
- Pour over bean combination and refrigerate several hours or overnight, until vegetables take on a good sweet and sour flavor.
