Ingredients
- 3 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 7 c. flour (approximately)
- 3 cubes margarine
Method
- Place yeast in large bowl.
- Mix in a little milk and make a paste. Smash any lumps!
- Add sugar, salt, remaining milk and eggs, beating well after each addition.
- Fill sifter with flour and sift into mix.
- Make just past sticky stage.
- Pour out onto board and knead.
- Roll dough out and place 3 cubes of margarine on it.
- Fold dough over margarine and smash.
- Margarine will come through flour a little.
- Roll out again and fold.
- Repeat.
- Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
