Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, juice and all
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Beat together eggs and sugar.
  • While mixing, add oil, vanilla, salt and baking powder and beat in flour gradually. After mixing, add crushed pineapple and chopped walnuts.
  • Fold into mixture.
  • Bake at 350° in a 9 x 12 "GLASS" baking dish, coated with cooking spray, for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Let cool completely before icing.
