Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped peeled apples

Method

  • Beat sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla with a mixer until light and fluffy. Combine flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Fold into the egg mixture until blended. Add chopped nuts and apples. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13 pan for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
