Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 round onion (optional)
  • 2 to 3 tsp. oil
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans water (tomato sauce cans)
  • 1 pkg. Lawry's spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 (4 to 5 oz.) can mushrooms (optional)

Method

  • Heat
  • the
  • oil,
  • then brown ground beef.
  • After beef is brown, drain
  • off
  • fat on paper towel.
  • Discard oil from pan. Return beef
  • to
  • pan.
  • Add
  • the whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, spaghetti
  • sauce
  • mix and mushrooms.
  • Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Serve over cooked spaghetti.
