Ingredients

  • 1 large head iceberg lettuce, broken into small pieces
  • 1 c. slightly cooked green beans
  • 1 medium grated carrot
  • 1 red onion, sliced thin
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. pineapple tidbits
  • 3/4 lb. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

Method

  • Layer lettuce, beans, carrots, pineapple and onion in a flat dish or pan.
  • Spread mayonnaise over the top and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle with bacon on top and toss.
  • (Bacon bits may be used.)
