Ingredients
- 3 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 ripe medium bananas
- 2 (16 oz.) cans unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed
- 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade, thawed
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 c. light rum or vodka
- Sprite or ginger ale
Method
- Boil water; stir in sugar until dissolved.
- Boil gently, uncovered, 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Cool.
- Meanwhile, in blender, combine bananas and 1/2 of the pineapple juice; blend until smooth.
- Stir into cooled syrup.
- Stir in the remaining pineapple juice, orange juice, lemonade and lemon juice.
- Stir in vodka or rum.
- Turn into 9 x 13-inch plastic container and freeze.
