Ingredients

  • 3 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 ripe medium bananas
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade, thawed
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. light rum or vodka
  • Sprite or ginger ale

Method

  • Boil water; stir in sugar until dissolved.
  • Boil gently, uncovered, 3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Cool.
  • Meanwhile, in blender, combine bananas and 1/2 of the pineapple juice; blend until smooth.
  • Stir into cooled syrup.
  • Stir in the remaining pineapple juice, orange juice, lemonade and lemon juice.
  • Stir in vodka or rum.
  • Turn into 9 x 13-inch plastic container and freeze.
