Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. beef, sliced
- 4 stalks celery
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 can bamboo shoots
- 1 c. beef suet
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 c. beef broth
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
Method
- In wok or skillet, brown suet and add chopped vegetables. Cook until vegetables are semi-tender.
- Remove suet and add all liquid and sugar.
- Bring to a hard boil and add meat.
- Continue cooking until meat is done.
- Serve.
- Makes 6 good size servings.
