Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
Method
- Cream margarine and sugars.
- Add egg, beating well.
- Add oil and beat until light and fluffy.
- Sift together flour, soda and cream of tartar.
- Add to first mixture and beat well.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Roll into long rolls.
- Wrap in waxed paper; put in refrigerator or freeze to chill.
- Slice in thin slices.
- Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
