Ingredients
- 6 to 8 ears of corn
- 1 lb. fresh butter beans
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 3/4 c. milk
Method
- Boil butter beans until tender in unsalted water.
- Cut raw corn from cob.
- Place corn in double boiler with butter, water and milk. Cook steadily for 20 minutes.
- Add butter beans, salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook together about 5 minutes.
